2013 – A Quick Review

We welcomed some new riders this year and two new horses, Gayland and
Justice.
We hosted the Area 6 Special Olympics in February and competed at the
State Special Olympics in Tampa in May. Everyone did great and had a
good time, including getting some time on TV!

Area 6 Special Olympics will be held on February 22, 2014.
State will be May 2-3, 2014. The state event will not be held in Tampa
as usual, it will be a longer drive, up to the Ocala area. Lots of
planning to do.

In addition to
providing horse care and service to the HforH program, the Seminole
Riders 4-H/Girl Scout club have also been very active doing their
projects, including showing their horses at local and 4-H shows
throughout the year. We thank them for all their support and continued
success in 2014.
Many thanks to all
the other organizations that support us: Kiwanis, Key Club, Bright
Futures, and many others.
